Rich with history, The Highlands at Wyomissing® is proud to continue to serve senior adults locally and beyond.
We opened its doors in April 1989 with apartments for those who needed a helping hand with daily activities. Since then, we have grown into a large community of homes and apartments, amenities and services, and more.
Residents typically make their move to join our culture, and our welcoming abundance of friends while still maintaining their active, independent lifestyle. Some who need a higher level of care are also welcome to move directly to one of our Personal Care apartments or to Skilled Nursing. Respite Care is also available for caregivers who need some time for errands or a vacation.

Many of our residents have a passion for giving back. We’re proud to support meaningful initiatives such as our Endowment Fund, Chaplain Fund, Compassion Fund, and Scholarship Fund, each dedicated to helping others and strengthening the community. Many residents find that with more time and freedom, they can make an even greater difference — in their church, civic club, or right here at The Highlands.

President and CEO
Kevin has served The Highlands of Wyomissing since 2000, progressing from CFO to President and CEO in 2013. With a background in accounting, he oversees all operations and collaborates with the board to shape the organization's vision.
VP of Customer Experience
Lorena Lazarchick, VP of Customer Experience since 1987, manages key resident services (programming, security, fitness, pastoral care, social services) and acts as a liaison between the Board and Administration.
VP of Health Services
Kristen Santangelo, oversees all health services at The Highlands, including skilled nursing, therapy, personal care, and home care. She is also the facility's Compliance Officer, bringing extensive experience from her background.

The members of our Board of Directors at The Highlands at Wyomissing® come from many disciplines and exhibit a passion for serving older generations.
Our Board members include community leaders, professionals and residents. Together, they collaborate to ensure our community maintains exceptional fiduciary responsibility. The Highlands at Wyomissing residents also form committees and interest groups to plan events and contribute to discussions on day-to-day life on campus.
